    Been to a couple of zoo's lately and up in the highlands so here are a few shots that i liked. nothing particuarly brilliant but not hideous either. all should click through to larger on flickr

    Taken with a 10 stop ND filter, apparently it won't work with my d50 as it allows through too much infra-red pollution, hence the white trees. never knew the d50 was quite so sensitive to infra-red. so the 10 stops been sent back and an infra-red filter ordered, might as well do it properly.

    and yes I forgot what having a polariser on the lens would do with a 360 panoramic hence the banding in the sky

    the monkey shots are good, the river is fantastic. the panorama is also pretty decent
    the snow monkey baby was hilarious actually as it reminded me of a friend of mine :D
    could use some sharpening though

    The UV effect on the river shot is excellent whether intended or not. It's instantly likeable.
    I think the shot of the squirrel is the best of the zoo shots. And I really like the panorama.
    Do you live close to this beautiful scenery?

    opps forgot to respon to this thread, thanks for the comments, and no i don't live that close (in British terms anyways) I'm about 120 miles away (so next door for Americans), the Mrs is currently working up in the highlands so was taken on a weekend visit to see her.

    It may be my work monitor, but it looks like you could bump up the levels on a few of those.
