Hi. I have just started using the steam client and am enjoying it very much i bought a few indi games and the first halflife and kingpin which i love. I have recently seen a game called killing floor which i thought looked pretty good i just wanted your opinion on the game to see wether the career is good as well as the graphics & coop. because i hate it when i buy a game that isnt worth it. Thanks
I've never played killing floor but I got bored of L4D pretty fast, if you have a lot of friends I think L4D can be fun, sadly, I don't.
Left 4 Dead is better than Killing Floor, where the latter is... *meh* Killing Floor's graphics are weak and coop is largely uninspiring (imo,) even with a load of friends on the same server. With Left 4 Dead, if you have no friends just jump into an online VS match, there's plenty going on.
the reason i bought this up was to see if it was good because i dont want to spend 30 oon a game at the moment as i am waiting for splinter cell conviction and the mafia 2. Maybe you guys could tell me some good games at that kinda price that are on steem
If you're into older SP games, Deus Ex Game of the Year edition and Psychonauts are available on Steam for £5.99 each. As a bonus, Steam has a demo for Psychonauts. Also The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition is available for £6.99. If multiplayer is your thing, Left 4 Dead. If you're in two minds, see if anyone's uploaded a user video on youtube to get an idea on how a game plays.
I have both, both got boring. Killing floor has different weapons, and a few of the special zombies are tougher to take down, and the last boss is always a pain, while left for dead you have versus.
I just bought Killing Floor the other day. Spent 8 hours on it so far. Its great fun, whether its really worth £14 I'm not sure. The slow-mo is cool, always cool to be blowing zombies heads off in slow mo with a bolt action rifle,
