    My right just got here 1 day ago and want know would it be worth or not even to over clock 2 gtx 285's in sli or no since they can max any thing out really im running crysis 42 fps in 1920x1080 with 16xaa. I have dell xps 730x and right now i got it overclock to 3.6ghz.

    I wouldn't. If you can max everything out right now, what would you gain?
    Best case scenario, more fps. Which you dont need. Worst case scenario, you damage a card (or both cards) and then, well... you damaged a card and gained nothing.

    Then why on earth did you waste money on two GTX 285s?

    :duh:

    EDIT: I'm looking at Dell's configurator for that desktop, and here are some prices for upgrades:

    Watercooling - $650
    3->12GB RAM - $2100
    A case window - $150
    Red 'war paint' - $250

    tl;dr

    Don't overclock.

    I didn't mention that you bought those things, just that Dell charges ridiculously high prices for them.

    I also wasn't talking about the freaking CPU, I was talking about the subject of the thread, the graphics cards.

    :duh:
