Can anyone tell me the difference between a plain old AMD 2500+ Barton, which is what i am running and a AMD 64 3000 or 3500 as to up grade would cost me £200 including mobo and I would like to know if i would see a drastic improvement in say playing games like doom 3 etc. Any help as well as to what mobo is best as I have just bought a x800 Pro Toxic which is AGP and if I was to upgrade the mobo it must accomodate 939 pin and both agp and pci-e together to save upgrading later.
