    Hello!

2 years ago when we had the garden redone, the decking expanded, a pergola built over what was originally the BBQ pit with a basic gravel base, I always had in mind that I'd like a permanent outdoor kitchen.

This week, after laying porcelein slabs over the old gravelled pit area, I took delivery of a modular outdoor kitchen by GRLLR - a treat to myself! Not had a chance to use it yet and there's still some finishing details required; however, it's always been a dream to be able to cook outdoors for the family and friends without the limitations of needing to run inside for the oven or the hob.

If you've got an outdoor kitchen, throw in a photo.

BBQ season is nearly upon us, so here's mine to start us off...

Oh that's lovely. We were just looking at outdoor kitchen bits in b&q the other day. Our paved area in the back garden in on 2 levels, only a 3-4" step up, but it carves it in 2 annoyingly small sections that aren't quite big enough on their own for a good seating space, but would be fine if combined. All the paving is pretty uneven and sketchy too.

House needs some serious work done this summer; roofs all need redoing including facias and guttering, external walls all need repainting, render on the kitchen-bathroom bit at the back needs pulling off and possibly redoing if the brickwork underneath is a bit knackered, and then we'll get the paving in the back redone so it's all level and probably extend it a bit further into the garden. Got 15m of lawn so won't miss a few. Should have enough space to build a little kitchen section to slot my BBQ into and get a little pellet pizza oven. Thinking fairly simple frame with stainless or granite/granite-like worktop suitable for working pizza bases on, maybe a shelf underneath to stash bits on while in use, but probably not full cabinetry
