    DVD Profiler

You type in the barcode off the DVD, it downloads the profile of the movie. Very cool, and it's free! I think GreatOldOne mentioned it a year or two ago and I've been using it since.

    OK, here's my collection:

I think I need more room. There are DVDs on top of each row (you can see all but the bottom ones), and more in front of each row. I used to just have one shelf, now I have all 3!

My parents probably have almost 30 DVDs, and my brother's slightly larger collection is here.

DVDProfiler says I currently have 234 DVDs (not counting my own VHS captures, "off-site backups" :naughty: etc).

Isn't that the perfect excuse to get a capture card & DVD burner?

VHS backups are a huge pile of crap though. Ive tried it once and the quality was so incredibly poor its not worth it. Ive ended up giving my VHS collection to my mum for the school fair.

I've got somewhere around the hundred mark. Shelf in my flat looked much like Quack's (combined with Laff's 100). They're all in a bed drawer atm, and I'm at work so no pics0r. :p

The question is, how often do you ever watch them?

I have about 2 or 3 films on dvd, and I've only ever watched them a few times...

A friend of my dad's, however, is stupidly into films. He's not quite moved onto dvd yet but last time I was round at his house he had at least 7,000 on VHS... :jawdrop:

A little off topic, but I assume this works on the barcodes of Region 1 & 2 discs? What about all the other regions? - Cheers.

I'll post picts of mine shortly...

Mate, you could have at least saved yourself the embarassment and Photoshopped your copies of Sex and the City and The Sound of Music out of the picture...

Ok, on further examination it appears you also own Calendar Girls and Bruce Almighty...Do you have no shame???????? :D

Yea it does. I gave up with the software in the end though - trying to get it to find non-R1 anime discs was a nightmare.

Apart from it being turgid nonsense for 40-something women whose idea of a good night is a bath with candles* and a bottle of wine that isn't as classy as they think? :D
