These cats own my bed, it like they are telling me that they don't need a cat heated bed. I need to get rid of their fur on a daily basis before sleeping.
I'd love a dog as I love dogs. Just can't be doing with the doggy smell, picking up poop and the neediness. Yeah, i'll stick with my kitty, i think it's best all round.
Does a cat not have all the downsides to a dog but none of the upsides? Biased of course as a doge myself
Both cats and dogs are great, each with different practical advantages. Seeing that me and my wife don't want to get a pet here in the states, we don't want to put it through the long flight home nor risk having it stay in quarantine, we decided to foster. This is Samson.
Smell a bit less, don't need constant attention, you can leave them home alone, and you don't have to be walking about carrying bags of poop. They can be very affectionate, mental and playful though as well as being moody sods. Sometimes an old cat can learn new tricks too. A bit like me I guess. Don't get me wrong, I love dogs, they're just too needy for me.
Yeaaah but it's not constant. They do ask for attention, I agree. I especially agree in the early morning when I have someone's soft padded paw gently tapping on my cheek and eyelid. "Oh, you're awake. Oh what a coincidence, I just got here and have been sat here quietly doing nothing - how lucky is that"
You seem to have changed the colour of the text so that it's not visible on the dark theme. Mind removing the colouring?
heh luckily there's a window right next to my computer desk, bob the cat is far more interested in sitting looking out of that
