thanx a lot for the link i'll check it out

edit - ok, after looking at the site i have to say that i dont think anyone should get it, im not the most computer savvy person in the world but im sure static discharge is very bad :) the site, states that it is know to ocassionaly create static discharge, now i may be wrong but if you do get it just make sure you look thoroughly at the site, and maybe test or something.

I think someone already mentioned it but I often see cheaper "copies" of metall shower hose sleeving. They are entirely made out of plastic of some kind with a chrome look paint and patern on the inside. Looks alot like the ones in metall but there is also a noticable differense if you look closely. But it might be an option if you dont want to take any risks.

Found a pic of the hose im trying to explain.

The small pic shows a hose made of metall, and the larger image shows the hose made out of plastic.

Yeah, depending on where you look, the fittings went from ~$8/ea to ~$20/ea. Mostly depending on straight through or angled.

That, and also what pressure you would be pushing through them. Even the cheapest could likely handle anything a WC righ could throw at them, quick Google shows fuel line (the cheapest fittings) tend to be 4.5-9psi (Edelbrock), while the dry sump looks like they can get to 250psi :jawdrop:

Second reason I bailed on the project, was finding if you could thread the fittings onto a waterblock...

Did it say that on another page? I couldn't find anything about static discharge, but I did see static dissipation mentioned. Basically, they're saying that the shiny coating contains real metal and is therefore very, very slightly conductive.

Further down the page in the testing section, they state that the product is classed insulative in 12V applications, which certainly covers using it inside a PC. Unless lightning strikes, in which case I doubt very much that you'll be worrying about shorts caused by your cable sleeving :D

    Nezuji :)
