I do the same thing, I count all my stuff (ipod,money....) then triple check my 3 alarms, then count it all again, lay my head down then count again in my head, then drift off to sleep (after counting one more time of course) I take a shower before bed(gym class) and a quick one in the morning to wash my hair (other wise it looks messy or bed headish)
I shower at night because as soon as I get up, I eat breakfast and go to school. No room for a shower because I like to wake up as late as possible. And I take my time in the shower/bath and I have plenty of time at night.
Back to the topic of taking showers, coming from a tropical country, i shower at least twice a day, in the morning, and before bed. but more often, it's 3 times; in the morning for the day (school/work etc) then after the days activity (back from school/work) and a quick wash if going out in the evening (socialising/dinner) and then at night before bed. Add showers as required after strenuous physical activity I have to say, i was a tad surprised by the relative infrequency of showering done by people here, but i suppose it also has to do with conserving resources (heating/water..) but i still take at least 2 showers every day here in the UK. Kind of a habit now, and i just feel dirty if i dont.
Usually at night as I dislike going to sleep feeling dirty. After all, you do catch quite a lot of dirt working, walking, etc.. during the day. And i see the bed as a clean place, but that's just me. (for the perverted minded, if the bed stays clean, it's because there's the couch for the other things).
Shower in the morning, but if I go to the gym or anything that gives the same effect I'll shower ASAP.
I completely understand the sentiment, but I tend to get a bath on a night to unwind and then just have a good wash in the morning ( we dont own a shower cos my dad made a hash of the plumbing). I also echo the sentiment of despising going to bed dirty. Im more likely to get a long soak/ wash hair etc on a night simply because of how long it takes to do everything ( im female, my hair cant be allowed to dry naturally or i resemble a lion) and how many people they are in my house wanting to be in the bathroom at the same time on a morning. Though if I had a shower i probably would get in on a morning because its quicker etc
Funnily enough I haven't had a shower for a few weeks- finally dared to try the baths out in our halls and they're really not that bad. That said, I'll probably find myself having a quick wash-down in the shower after I've been to the gym in the mornings when I'm busier.
I love a shower in the morning - it sets me up just right for the day, despite having to dry my excessive hair.
I cannot go through the day without a shower in the morning, it's actually impossible for me not to have a shower in the morning.
I usually wake up, put on a hat and all clothing articles not on me at the time, slap on some deoderant, was my face and go to my first class, then after that, I shower, it's nice to sleep.
