i shower at school after weight training. after school i go to work at the Harley dealership where i get FILTY so naturally i take another shower when i get home
At night.. I usually skip a day or two between showers though.. I don't really sweat/get dirty even when working, a shirt/pair of pants usually lasts me a week before starting to lose their clean scent and most people even say I *smell* clean even if I haven't showered in a day or two.. I'm not sure what *smelling clean* is like on a person though Always sleep in underwear, with a sheet and a duvet and the fan on lowest setting, just enough to keep air stirring/moving, I've never.. secreted when sleeping Usually change my sheets about once every 2 months also, though they generally still smell clean. The myth that French people smell bad is obviously quite wrong.
One VERY IMPORTANT thing I haven't seen mentioned is climate - not just heat (which was mentioned) but also humidity. When I lived in eastern Pennsylvania (which is very humid) I felt like I needed to shower at least twice a day. When I moved back to northern Alberta (which is very dry) it hurt to shower more than once every two days because my skin got too dry (no amount of lotions helped). It's OK now that I've acclimatised again but I find that I don't get near as sweaty here - ever - as I did there (even comparing hot days here to cold days there). I'm not going to vote because if I moved to the area where any of you lived I would probably change my habits - again. There is truth in what you say. I used to be a plumber and the first thing I did every day after work was shower. Now I work in an office and It's totally different. Not to mention the effect on those who are allergic to many perfume ingredients.
Nah, I work in an office setting, and I still bathe/shower at night. Or after I get home. Or whenever's convenient. But never in the morning. But I agree on the climate. I never sweat to begin with, and it tends to be quite cool and dry here so it's even less of a problem. During the summer somewhat less so, but I'm quite comfortable with the temperature into the eighties (25-30c range).
