Jewelry making desk and bins full of beads and jewelry findings. Soap making supplies, general crafts, and some scrapbooking kit, and a few extra Precious Moments figurines, Craft books, more candle making supplies, some of my sewing supplies, and a couple tubs full of Bone China miniatures that go on antique typesetters drawers used as shelves. Most of the little figurines are marked Occupied Japan. Like a walking tour through our house! john Trivia question for today and the answer is in this post. Why do we call letters Upper and Lower case in English?
I Collect porn and music. I could show you my collection....... maybe not. I've well over 100 gigs of both. with the price of HD's I dont delete stuff, no point, you never know when you might want to listen to sumut random, and then there's the music ;-) TBH, I seem to have lost intrest in both. Last time I watched a *Ahem* First thought was the god awful wallpaper, then appaled by the purple and pink curtains. Barley noticed whats going on in the other part of the screen. Similar for music. Got the album, listened to the first 20 seconds of each track, skipped to the end, then not listened to again.
Huh, I've got a set of those red ramps somewhere around - although they were given to me as a kid so aren't exactly in mint condition any more I'd always assumed they were my dads from when he was a kid, but 1968 would be too late for that I think. I must research.
No picture but I have about 45 kawasaki 125 frames in my basement...... and no I do not have a single running 125
Sorry - Only just checked back here - for whoever wanted Tamiya Paints - http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=Category&CategoryID=99601010&ManufacturerID=53 RwD
Oh, i know that. It has something to do with those early manual prints, right? All the little blocks with letters on them were in two boxes/cases. One box for capital letters, one for normal ones. Usually the capital box was above the normal one. Or something to that effect.
Very good. The early manually set type - before mimeographs, and comupters - was indeed stored in drawers(cases) with small individual compartments. The capital letter cases were generally placed above the regular letters since they weren't used as much and it was quicker to find the little letters at waist height. I'll do a pic today of some original typesetter's drawers. M has quite a few for displaying small miniatures. john
I collect wine...although I can't be bothered to spout anything about anything I have as it would probably wouldn't mean much to anyone on here. Still - if anyone does know anything about wine, I do have Petrus, but I don't have La Tache.
nobody should want tamiya paints, they're rubbish, I much prefer the humbrol acrylic ones I've got as the paint actually sticks to things, unlike the tamiya stuff which is too thin and just evaporates or vanishes, and you need tamiya acrylic thinners when it should just be water. can you tell I don't like tamiya paints.
I have a few teddies, and I collect old motherboards and circuit boards... But only for the reason that they'll come in handy one day I've got a few games consoles as well, a C64, SNES, NES, GBC, GB, PS1, GBA-SP and 2 Megadrives
I have a small collection of Muse CDs; handful of singles, multiple versions of each album from different countries. My friend has every different version of every single...but he doesn't have this: Their 2nd ever release, only 1000 copies and I have #575. Goes for up to £300 on ebay - £5 in a charity shop for me
The only thing I have collected over the past few years are STD's, its fun collecting them but the quicker you get rid of them the better. Sorry no photos!
