John, I'll post pics when I get home. There's a link to the product page with some images of the new models here in the mean time.

    Edit:

Space Marines clipped together (paint them on the weekend, hopefully it'll be dry so I can use the spray undercoat)

I've still to sort out the Genestealers, job for tomorrow.

I have a small but modest collection of first edition and rare SF books, including a first edition of Brave New World and my favourite ever book, The Demolished Man by Alfred Bester.

My favourite bit though is Nancy Kress' Beggars in Spain trilogy. I have a signed, limited, numbered first edition of the first novel, a signed first of the second and a signed, unpublished and numbered publishers version of the third book.

I've got a tonne of comic books too, but there's no central theme or value to them. I'd have a collection of really nice whisky too, but I tend to drink it. The only bottles I've managed to hold on to are a bottle of 9YO CE Ledaig, which I bought for the girlfriend, and a Signature Series bottle of something I can't remember which is worth so much my parents keep it locked up at home. I've got a 30 something YO Martell Cognac too, which was bought for me the day I was born.

    Oh, and computer games, obv.

My dvd collection is huge. Since about 1997 my parent's have been purchasing dvd's. I've got over 400 VHS's, and over 900 DVD's. Also got 11 tv's, that's more than the average joe.

Can't say I've got anything in a quantity that could be considered a 'collection'. Music-wise I've got around 160 CDs, 50 records, 170 CDs of Mozart and 4 guitars.
The only other thing I've tended to hoard is magazines- a few years of CPC, few years of Total Guitar, dozens of issues of NME and subscriptions to Wired and Clash.

Jesus Christ, jhanlon, is every room in your house just full of collections of stuff? :D It would terrify me to be that materially invested, imagine a house-fire... *shudder*

I collect PC games, I suppose. Not a very bold claim on a PC modding forum, but most people I know only keep about 20 games or so, selling them on when they're done or just throwing/giving them away. I keep all mine in their original boxes and stuff, going back infrequently to my oldest purchase, a big-box copy of Hexen II. (I'm only 20, so obviously a lot of my buying was retrospective :))

edit - oh! I used to collect Beano comics when I was a kid. Still have them somewhere in storage, about 500 of them. Bloody impossible to get every one though, every week for 40 years or so? No chance :(

It's a big house. 4 floors. We've been in this house 20 years this month. Plenty of time to accumulate things. Anything not readily replaceable is in a safe here or stored off-site securely( birth certificates, wedding pics, jewelry, etc.)

What would you put in 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 3200 square feet? It's just our house not White House. We live here. Raised 3 sons, and all the grandkids learned to walk at Grandma's house. Only stable place they know.

I collect vintage/rare processors, my collection has things like s754 Turions, Pentium Overdrives still in shrink wrap, first-release Xeons, and an AM286. I'm always looking, current "must have" is a K6-III, as well as an S4 Turion X2.

I collect headphones (and headphone related equipment) and bikes but I don't have enough of either to merit posting - plus they're not collected just to store but to use.

Well that answered the question I had in my head, didn't even have to ask it...magic!

I have a revell 747-400 unmade sitting under my desk, I keep forgetting to get paint/glue, but now I want to get some larger scale but smaller planes such as spitfires etc. I was looking at the airfix kits and did think they looked a little too good to be true.

Would I be best looking at revell kits, or something else? I have been on emodels and modelzone, I don't know where else to buy, or what to buy.
