    wow....

I had my BIX mounted in my case with two 120mm papst fans mounted directed to it. The temps were OK, bu I wasnt all that happy with them. So The other night I completely rebuilt my system. I was even able to trim about 6 inches of tubing by just reworking my routing.

But anyways, on with the main part of this thread. I took some of my erector set pieces (I loved erector, lego and kenex when i was younger) and used them to rais the pushing fan about an inch from the rad. I then wraped this framework in duct tape to create an airtight seal. My temps have gone down by 7*C!

I should do the same on my BIX2 ... maybe that would bring down my already awesome temps ... hehe. When my G5 Alu case is finished I`ll do that I suppose.

    Cheers

Its a shame no-one is selling them yet. I have a WTD add out for a dead 120mm fan to do the job for me.

I picked up a cheap 120mm fan last week in the forums, i've already chopped the fan out and gave it a bit spit and polish ;) and plan on using the housing/frame as a shroud when mounting the fan on to my bix. i'll post some pics once i get it all attached.
