Could we have more info? System specs... Operating system... when it shuts down - at boot, when running specific programs, randomly etc.

First suspicions (with noting to go on) would be bad RAM or bad PSU.

First thing to do would be re-seat the ram, and if that doesnt do anything, run memtest (use the free download)

That could be 100% wrong though - need a bit more info :)

I have had a few problems that that have been fixed like the graphics card that burnt out. A few months ago I had to change the the Vista 64 bit to Windows7 64 bit as I think that I had been hacked, I all so had a problem with TalkTalk as they failed to provide the Broadband for three months, so when I came home from hospital I went to BT and so far had a better service, I did have AVG before but now I have McAfee full sevic.
I dont no a lot about computors so any advice is much appreciated. When it shuts down ther is no warning and there is no patttern to it, it can happen just after booting up or 20 minutes later or after an hour, like I said before I have checked all the connections and made sure that its dust and dirt free but it still happens its just like you have turn the power off hope that a help.

    yours sincerely crazykatzs

Check the power lead that goes in the back, I had the exact same problem a while back, changed the lead and it's been good as gold since.
