I currently have a SN45G which im creating a new front faceplate for but i would like it to be very clean and plain looking. So im deciding to ditch the front audio ports and firewire, and only keep the two usb's. But how would i go about removing the rest and centering the towo usb ports? i know they are all currently connected to a pcb inside and is connected via a motherboard connector. is there a way of stripping it down to only the usbs?

    thanks

It would be nice if you had a picture. depending on the way the pcb is constructed, you could prolly desolder or pull the other connections out. You can also buy the mobo header to usb brackets and just modify one of those
