Im looking at a desktop pc, but would love a small shuttle! Would it be possible to overclock the cpu in this as it seems a bit of a waste of cpu, to not, when there so good?

Also would psu stand up to the ocing and a largish gfx card, 9800xt or pro?

    One last qusetion.

Is it easy to build up a shuttle form the case, as i think it would be cheaper to buy the case, psu, motherboard etc seperately?

Is this possible adn where from?

Oh, and is it possible to mod a shuttle, so that there are two 5.25 drives instaed of 1 and 2x3,5 bays, as i need to drives and 1hdd!

    SFF NOOB

Well I think it's cheaper and easier to just buy the case / mobo / psu together as one unit since that's how most places sell it. Shuttle normally preinstall the mobo and psu as well.

Shuttles aren't generally know to overclock CPUs too well (in fact some don't oc at all). Overclocking your video card will be no problem. Shuttle PSUs are very well made and can handle it.

As far as modding a shuttle to fit 2 5.25" drives ago I don't see why not. You might find it a squeeze on the insides though.

Is there any scope at all for overclockibg the cpu?

Or are there no options in the bios?

Also do all shuttle cases fit all shutt;e accesories, such as drive cages, motherboards, and psus. So that if i want to swap cases it would be easy?

Also can i cool the cpu, with a standrd heatsink and gan, rather than the heatpipe? As these are hard to find!

One more thing were can i find shuttle motherboards to buy, except gemma.co.uk in the uk? And is there anywhere that has information on ocing shuttles?

    THANX FOR THE HELP

the sn95g5 is good at simple overclocks. The bios option is an easy way into a nice stable overlock.

What kind of FSB increases are availbale through the mobo, as im looking at a 3000 90nm as these are very good ocing chips, and would be a shame to waste it!!
