Alright, I have this force feedback pro Sidewinder, but Counter-Strike will not recognise it as a joystick, anyone know how to make that happen?

why do you want to use a joystick with CS. Is it even designed to go with a joystick?

yes, you can use a joystick with half life and therefore counterstrike.

Check the advanced controls section of the configuration menu.
There is an option there to enable the joystick :)

You could use the programing software that you get with the joystick, I cant remeber if you can bind joystick movements to keys.

If you can just bind up on the joystick to the W key and so one.

    Hope this helps! :)

I know what you mean now... I was being terminally thick.

I am well aware of the WASD setup...half of my messages in CS consist of "dasdwsdsdawwdassdsdaadad" followed by me screaming "bloody machine...work damnit!!!" then realising I had pressed Y by mistake...:cries:

i hear ya... the only thing that fixes this, is to move or get rid of the chat key, and just use voice communication... and that way, you'll play better as a team too...
