can you put images in your sig?

 

I think that they (RTT and crew being "they") disabled sig images, for bandwidth reasons.

I may be wrong, though

 

I hate big sigs, so I think it's better this way

 

Yes, I agree. having to wear out your scroll wheel while browsing the forums is anoying, afterall, the pages are already long enough

I think that there should be like a 5 line limit on sigs, but that is just me

 

No, we disabled them because I HATE THEM, I HATE THEM GARAAGGHHHHH.. I HOPE THE ALL DIE AND NEVER COME BACK.. WOOO... ANNOYING.. OOOOAAAAA.. FLIPPIN'... AAAAAAAAA..STUPID SIG IMAGES...AAAAAAAAAARRRGH.

They just clutter the place up, and there's no way of limiting the size of images used, and with ~2000 members, it gets hard to enforce.

Take a look at all the other very popular forums and see what a mess they are with images in sigs.... I'm sure you'll agree.

 

I agree. It's also just a little something to help the 56k'ers. Anyway, why not just sing along with my sig.

 

lol okay, i only wanted to put a very samll picture in. Guess i'll just have to go with out.

Hmmm , check out the neowin forums,they show image sigs work really well.

All it takes is creativity and self control on the part of the user though.

 

I think maybe 1% of the visitors has selfcontrol...

I accept there are examples that work well here and there, but I can just imagine new members coming along, and not reading any guidelines we give - thats all.
