    Hi Folks,
today i post my new Worklog, well new..... it started 11.8 so its nearly new.

It will be a Casecon made of Alu (3mm thick to be precise) with some blue accents.

Before i started, i made a Sketchup drawing (took my around 24h to finish) which is my biggest and most accurate work with sketchup til now. But im not gonna show it to you, at first. I will post only small pieces with the parts im working at at the moment.

    Phu... lots of describtion ;)

Now lets start with the first piece.

Phew... thats it for today. I hope its not too much, but i even let a few pics out. This is whyx i said 56k warning, right? :D

Well one thing, the pictures are not in the right order judging from the date. I pit the into groups so its easier to read.

The last thing i worked on was actually the "sik" Letters.

Im looking forward to your comments.

    More to come....

    Update 22 Aug.

@Cyberbob:): The Alu is 3mm thick.

Thanks for your nice comments. Therefor i have a new update for you.
I continued working on the right side panel. I cut the plexi for the small window. Sorry i have only one pic of the progress, then was the cam empty.

    Well here is the pic:

    And the Result:

Looks ok at first sight, but when you look closer...

    [IMG] [IMG]

You can see that one edge broke. And thats when i was so close to finishing it :wallbash:
Well cant help it, i had to redo it. But the second try wasnt better, it broke even earlier. When i wanted to drill the holes for my jigsaw an edge broke too.

Then with the third try it worked, but now im out of acrylic :duh:. But fortunately i ordered already some new, which should arrive shortly.

    Well here is the result:

And another thing happened today. I got a parcel with my new Motherboard. It it a micro-ATX Board which is kindly provided by Foxconn. It is the 45CM-S.

    Thats it for today.

Thanks man and heres your Update ;) though its only a small one.

Today i worked on the Mainboardplate. As you can see its far too big.

So i had to cut it down to a more suiting size. I marked roghly where i had to cut and the fun started ^^

No it fits perfect in the case, exactly what i had in mind.

    See you next time.
