Silent Edit time

    What is it, 5 or 6 minutes before the "last edited" message appears? Would it hurt to be a bit longer, say 10, even 15 minutes?

    It just makes posts a bit untidy IMHO when all you've done is a typo correction or added a link. :wallbash:

    It is currently 5 minutes which I think is the default.

    I think its best to have the "edited by" appear on all edits.

    I never read that, nor do I ever give a reason, but for those that do it's nice I guess.

    5 minutes is fine for me, lets me correct any typos that got by the first time. I'm a member of a couple of other forums that have no silent edit time, and it's really annoying when I just want to fix/add something quickly. It's fine as it is IMO, but I don't see any harm in 10 minutes either for the slower thinkers out there ;)

    Eh, 10 minutes may not be bad. A lot of times I end up having to go back and rephrase after I cool off a minute. :)
