This could be classed as either cases or build advice but as my main concern is the case thought that was most appropriate :)

I want to do my rig in a SFF and after looking at the available cases quite like the look of the SG09B (cubey goodness :D).

So I wondered if the good people here could help me out with a few things?

The type of rig I'm looking at the minute is:
    Gene V (or equivalent haswell)
    i7 3770k (or equivalent haswell)
    16GB (2x8) DDR3
    2 x 250GB SSD
    2 x GTX670/680 4GB
    Corsair H80(i)
Silverstone Strider Gold 750W with Short Cable Kit (based on SG09B)

    1) First and foremost I would like to get a good overclock on to the chip, which will more than likely be haswell but for the purpose of this thread let's say it's a 3770k with a Maximus Gene V. So would I be able to fit a H80(or i) in this case without too many problems to help with cooling??

    2) I have a Dell U2711 that is sat on my desk which will be my monitor so with that in mind I quite fancied trying to SLI some 4GB GTX670 Cheesecake in the case to last me a few years. I did look at 680's but as the 670's are £380 approx and the 680's £500 approx then unless I can get one or both 680's at a good price then I wouldn't see a massive benefit for £240.

So back to the case will I struggle with these plus an all in one water cooling unit? Obviously I will have to find some 80/92mm fans to fill the case and get the cooling right to try not to fry the cards but most importantly will it fit?

    3) Also would a 750w PSU be sufficient or under/over kill? A PSU calculator suggested 589W (with an overclock to 4.7Ghz/1.35 VCore - just guessing to put something in there :/) does this sound about right?

If anyone has used an SG09B (or is using one) and could help out it would be much appreciated. This build is not immediate but I need to get an idea on the components now so I can get the required funds together (and see if I can bag a bargain or two along the way!)

7970 ghz edition CF are around even with GTX 680 SLI, and they're slightly cheaper than 4gb 670s

a quality 750w will be just fine for two high end cards and an overclocked ivy bridge

120mm all in one coolers fit in the rear 120mm fan spot in the SG09, though with some you might need to remove the top fan

Cheers, I wanted to try and keep to rear exhaust GPU's which with the 7970's seem a bit short on numbers especially the ghz cards, still I'll keep looking.

Also I wonder if anyone has a SG09 whether they might be able to give me the internal dimensions so I could do some sketches for my build. I can find the external dims and max GPU length but not internal :(

Whilst I would normally agree with docodine on the AMD price/performance advantage, I think in this case your very best bet for dual GPUs would be 2 x EVGA 670 F.T.W. (2GB or 4GB), as they run incredibly cool and almost silent on the stock 680 cooler and rear vent.

In a case of this size the fans might spin up a little further to keep things nice and cool, but it will be a lot less intrusive than the cooling on the brute force 7970.

every air cooled card will run hot in a dual card setup, that's just how it is

also lol @ a 670 with a stock nvidia blower cooler running 'incredibly cool and almost silent'

I've owned one, it's true. Never exceeded 65 degrees under load and was never audible in my P182, whereas the 580 which preceded it very much was.

Anyway I would have a think about the 670's in such a small case, a couple of 7970's will be like a furnace.

My 670 is damn near silent the entire time.. I don't think its ever spun up about 50%.. ever.
