well we in the uk have to wait until friday, however if you were dumb enough to pay £lol on origins store we EU peeps get access to it tomorrow,
Literally bouncing up and down in excitement. COME ON HURRY UP. EDIT: Wait, Origin orders get it tomorrow? You sure? AWESOME.
Are the limitations mentioned earlier in this thread confirmed? Might wait for the DLC to drop rather than pay lolmonies then get RealRacing'd to death.
Yeah there was a lot of talk over on face punch about it, iirc one of the devs confirmed it on twitter.
Oh I'm in two minds about this. On the one hand I really want to play it, on the other, I'm hating all the day 1 DLC etc Though this has just made my decision much easier. I will now definitely be waiting for a price drop and stability patches. - No way am I paying £30 for the privilege of not being able to play the game I've paid for.
Enjoyed the beta but a combination of piss taking prices (especially on origin) and this stupidness with the always on auth server is a no go for me. I'll wait for full reviews, patches and a decennt price reduction to compensate for all the BS.
I was hoping to play this at work, but that can't happen if it needs an internet connection. Bad times.
Ugh. Every time you switch servers you have to play the tutorial over again. Anyone know how to bypass?
I always do mine on the ZiiP Gamestore. Beats the hell out of most places, currently a few quid cheaper than gamesplanet for the limited edition.
Seems like a bit of a washout tbh. Ars has very few positive things to say: http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2013/03/simcity-impressions-we-waited-ten-years-for-this Definitely going to wait for the bug fixes, patches and subways. Hope they also enlarge the tinytinytinytiny cities too.
Well they lied, as it is still "unreleased" in my Origin account. Whereas Polygon awarded a 9.5 score. The city size is apparently going to be the target of an expansion or patch later on, but they're kept relatively small at the moment to allow the game to run on quite low spec PCs. I imagine mass transit will be another expansion, just like Sim City 4's Rush Hour.
