Firefox will not load the interactive animations that IE does, instead there is just a white space and a quicktime object in the middle eg:

    In IE

    In Firefox

I know it must be something really simple but I can't figure out what :wallbash:

Does anyone know what I need to do?

Have you installed Quicktime? Try updating to the lastest version (from apple.com).

Yup, quicktime is installed and it works in IE just not in firefox which made me wonder if it was a setting like 'do not allow sites to execute code on this computer' or something but I couldn't find anything in the options that made a difference.

First, go to your address bar and enter about : plugins (without the spaces...stupid smiley face :p) and make sure that quicktime is listed there and that it is all enabled. Firefox may not realize that you have it. If you do have Quicktime listed there (I have it like 7 times or something) make sure that it doesn't have swf suffixes associated with it. If it does, the problem could be that the site you are visiting is actually using flash, but Firefox thinks that it should be using Quicktime instead of Shockware. Quicktime can do flash, but apparently not in FF.

If neither of those help, check the Firefox forums for lots and lots of stuff about Quicktime. :D Firefox Forums
