See the "modding" section of www.metku.net
That's where I started my modding career.

I'm sorry to tinkle on the cake so to speak... but you know there is a wonderful thing called search.... failing that google...

Dispite my cynicism simple mods are relative to your skill level... usually people start by stealthing drives changing LEDs, making convenience mods eg relocation of audio IOs, and windows etc...

my first mod was a glow pad... its a good start to work with the tools and learn some electronics and stuff.......... they have a guide here, and they have one at metku.net (great site) .. .. but seriously.. just play around with stuff ya got laying around the house.. take it apart, put it back together and make it look cool.

Here's a good simple mod. If you have a light in your case, put a switch on your front bezel to turn it off. Nice, simple, useful and easy to do.
