    pretty close to sprite/7up

little bit more of a strange coppery taste to it but good especially with flavored rum/ vodka :D

very nice indeed! I wanted to do something similar with a blue acrylic case but now it isn't that original anymore :D

The blue acrylic case btw has the exact same color as the bawls bottle :thumb:

keep up the good work :dremel:

Isnt cream soda, soda thats Vanilla? Or are they actually to different flavors? Also nice case design. Very orignal. Looks like its gonna be sweet. Every think of putting like a bawls despenser built into the case? That be cool. Have it cold and everything. ...

    Update!

Ok, finally got back from b-ball camp, played 23 games in 7 days *ugh*, anyways, here is my next update!

Well, let's get right to it!
As some people had mentioned earlier, I am planning on producing some lighting effects around each bump in the side. So, a trip to home depot and a lil scrounging around yielded these:

They are just nylon washers but they just be just opaque enough to let the right amount of light pass through them.

So, I had to fasten them to the bumps some how, and I turned to good ol' super glue:

Just a light dab around the edges and they are held on there really tight :D

Here is a side view so you can get the hang of how it's goin to look
    [IMG]

Now I just grabbed a spare led to test it out
    [IMG]

    Sucess!

    Under less light:

I also picked up some hardware to mount the acrylic. Drilled holes and here is what you get:

    Perfect! :D

    Close-up
    [IMG]

Here's another thing I may not have mentioned. The back panel I am doing this on really isn't the back panel, it's simply the plastic covering. You see there is a metal back to it:

Because of this I cannot have a true window and I have limited space inbetween the plastic and the metal seen here:

But, with some spacers installed I think I should have no trouble mounting led's and such in there

    Another shot mounted:

It might be a lil while till my next post.... you see at b-ball camp I managed to pop my shoulder out.. again :wallbash: (3rd time total) so I can't do a lot with that arm but I'll try to keep updates coming!

Nice lighting effect, should look better when it is repeated a number of times. I also light that it is not overly bright, but subtle. Classy.

As thinkgeek says, rather like a fruity sprite/7up. However it's got a really "fine" carbonation to it imo, rather like a lot of fizz but smaller bubbles than in typical soda. Rather hard to describe.

Backlit bumps look cool. I agree with Bandit - it's subtle, not too flashy. That's how I like most mods (it tends to take more skill to make that kind look good, but that shows the devotion to modding).
