Who is looking forward to the Six Nations fireing up again?

Predictions for winner? Anyone going to a match (got my Scotland v Ireland ticket).

As a Scotland supporter, just getting tries is enough to get me excited. Still, never no, I was at Murryfield last time we won the Calcutta cup, could it happen again?

I have to be biased and say that Italy have been improving each year, so I'm looking forward to seeing how they do. :)

I pray for England but expect Wales or France (if they decide to turn up that is...)

Quite agree, love a good bit of sport to end the weekend. Particualy pleased as the Six Nations leads nicely into the first Grand Prix of the year.

I think Wales winning is somewhat unlikely. Ireland are an almost guaranteed no with a very weak pack that is sorely missing Po'C and never quite managed to replace Hayes. I think England winning is plausible but it won't be the strongest winning 6N team by a long way, similarly with France. I reckon Italy will outdo Scotland this year as they have more stability in their squad.

Oh, and Jonathan Davies will be an annoyingly little **** as usual and will probably be having babies when he sees Mauro Bergamasco put in a cracking hit on a leek lover.

I'd say England have a pretty good shout this year, 3 home games to Wales' and France's 2. I can see it being quite close; with England beating France, Wales beating England and France beating Wales. That said, going off the autumn internationals Wales will be lucky to come third.

Indeed, would be very surprised to see Wales beat England.

Even as a Welshman, I still have to say that I don't think Wales have much of a chance. They've had too many injuries, and really seem to be struggling without Gatland at the helm.

I think that it'll either be France or England, but it'll probably go right to the line and we won't know who's won until the result of the France-Scotland match are in.

This man is by far the worst thing about watching the games. He is just so repellent! Actually makes me think less of the Welsh, which I now is unfair!

I'll see your Jonathan Davies and raise you a Jon inverdale. That man is a complete twinkle and makes me contemplate punching my own TV set. I like Brian Moore and Eddie butler commentating though.

Inverdale is pretty bad. In fact I think the whole BBC team are pretty shocking. Guscott always looks like his world is about to end, I've seen happier starving Africans, and, he NEVER gets anything right...!!!

Brian Moore I am split on, yes, he's quite funny and stubborn, but I don't like how he is so revered. On multiple occasions he will be defiant in his call and will be technically totally incorrect during the coming 6N, it's very frustrating.

    Ditto.

Not a good day to be Rob Howley - Gatland had a face like thunder for most of the match.

Cannot wait for the Irish, English game. The Scots have guts but absolute no rugby brain. They need a decent fly half or first centre to take charge and be the general.
