    I must say thanks, these models are great. Made many drawings using them.
    I'm missing a model of an Epia board though. Has anoyne made one?

    I'd been put off using Sketchup till now but I reckon you just smoothed out a massive chunk of the learning curve needed with this thread.

    Thanks, but I also have to thank everyone who contributed models/advice/tutorials to the thread - it wouldn't be worth it without their contribution.

    it should be noted that the drive is about .6 inches too wide, as is the cd-rom it's modelled on. Sorry to kill your party chap.

    The width of the model is 100% accurate.

    CD-ROM bays are not 5 1/4" wide

    If the design is to scale, you can resize the entire model to a specific dimension and replace the incorrect line with one that is 5 13/16" wide

    Not that Easy Ouija. These cases have inch thick cut bezels, and drive cages. Btw - what's the accurate dimensions on 3 1/2 drives?

    very noob question on sketchup

    just downloaded it but thetutorilas are ****.

    get how most of it works nut how do you round edges like on the edge of if it not a straight 90 degrre join? Chamfered like the edge of table?

    and are all your drwaings to scale?

    last one how do you make thing protrude at a certain angle?

    The video tutorials are superb for beginners.

    Use the measure tool and draw an arc on the corner you want to round.

    There is also a protrator tool.

    All my models are to scale, can't say the same for everyone though.
