I don't *know* that it will work with archicad, but I can't see any reson why not, it definatly works with Vectorworks, and definatly works with Sketchup. What I used it most for was making daylight simulations either internaly for light penetration, or externaly for over shading. It had it's own sun path calculator etc, just pop in your position in degrees and minuits. a 300:1 ratio (every 5min realtime=1jpeg@600x400) would take about an hour to render and give you a five minuit movie of 24h of daylighting, do that for longest day summer, shortest day winter, and you can make any differences in windo hights, building hights, roof pitches etc that you need to maximise natural lighting and minimize overshading. They even do a free demo (don't know how long it lasts, but free so worth experimenting)

Anyway, back on topic, I *think* I've sorted out the jagie edges to the curves, and have set it to render again, 7h at work and I'll see what the results are like.

    Regards,
    Alex

I'm enjoying reading this thread, learning a lot.

I would like this 3PointLights file please - it's no longer on the Thermochill website, tried changing the link to .co.uk which works for most of their stuff, but not for this one. Google can't find it either.

Perhaps someone would be kind enough to host it somewhere or email it to me please.

Finally found that file under a slightly different name (3LightStageStudio) mentioned in this thread, Googled that and found it :D

It can be found in this thread

    Hey Gang,

Just want to add this Microcool Banchetto 101 Clear Modular Case I did. 99.9% accurate, I happen to get one of these cool bench cases. I gave two files to Jez, one is SU6 the other is SU7 files I don't know how Jez will post them but at least their there.

Fun project and even more fun working on the case. Hope you like it.

Hmmmm that may be the case. I tried to submit a model of a Silenx Ixtrema ixg-80ha2 GFX Heatsink a while back, but never got a reply.

I also have a model of a Tban BigNG if you are interested.

Both models are done in sketchup 6, to scale and as accurate as I could get.

@boogerlad, I think their was a similar specs layout for motherboard holes at SCC or was it here in the forum somewhere.

I could put something up later if you'd like.

@Jez, your the man bro. Thank you.:thumb:

See pics of the real case here. $260,-- or around £175,-- in the UK.

Oh, my, so much awesomeness... I think I need to sit down for a moment...

Been drawing my pump top in Sketchup, here's the results.

and here's a render, not sure why a couple of bits came out strange. Will have to check the lettering, as that may have the wrong texture.

Now just need to do the pump......

Once I've finished the model I'll send it to Jezmck, outer dimensions are spot on (got a digital vernier for £17!), water ways are probably the least accurate bit. Only been using Sketchup for a couple of weeks or so, so still learning, only previous cad stuff was Floorplan (designed my extension) and a bit of Turbocad stuff.

This is for my water cooling project that can be seen here.

Edit: Found a lot of the faces on the lettering was the wrong way round, not sure with the other bit though.
