Sorry, I didn't notice this reply. If you're still having problems, you should just be able to redraw over the bold lines and this should "heal" the square faces. That is why, in my tutorial, I rotate two sets of curves which already have the faces between them. This saves you from redrawing every single one, and when you copy the first set the faces are duplicated as well.

This is my first sketchup object. (pc related anyway)
I know the blades suck but I honestly gave up making more correct blades.. (and i didnt want to rip someones blades.. ) the measurements are correct though..

in addition, I really like low-detailed objects.. if I need detail I use 3D Studio MAX...

If someone want to put this in their DB, be my guest.. (its not that good)

I could need a ATX motherboard.. with LOW details.. the one posted here really sucks my cpu/gpu dry..

That's an excellent fan, especially to increase the speed of a model with the flat blades.

This is probably very unnecessary... Yet another 80mm fan.. (low detail)

this is exactly the kind of thing i wanted - perfect amount of detail etc.

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for the great input!

In the spirit of low level detail.. an ATX-478 mobo... and yes, you have seen it before.. its a low level detail remake of the Soyo SY-P4I875P DRAGON 2 (Platinum Edition) By El Nosba. (2419kb!) The only part which is a complete copy is the ram socket handle bars (white in pic)

    atx-478 (291kb)

All credits and thanks to El Nosba.. I am in the starting phase of building a socket A mobo in the same leve of detail.. most probably the ASUS A7S333. (Since its what i got in my pc)

    edit:
    -------------------------------------------------
i do NOT guarantee the sizes in the model. in seems to me that there are several discrepancies. If i get my hands on some 2d fact file on atx form factor standards i will update my file.. and let you know it..

The atx-478 object is now updated!

NOTE: the mounting holes are now correct according to the ATX 2.2 form factor (thanks hyperdreamz :thumb: ) the mother board is also modified to be a FULL SIZE atx mother board, so please forget all references to the Soyo SY-P4I875P DRAGON 2 mobo... this board is WIDER then the Soyo board..
still, el nosba did a great jobb..

This might be already in here, but at 20 pages I don't want to have to read the whole thread :p

Anyway, has anybody got a rendering of the front panel of a Pioneer slot loading DVD drive?

Not too bothered about the metal casing, just the front panel if possible.

    Thanks :D
