    Anyone want to create a half height video card?
    Such as:

    PowerColor Radeon9600 SE

    [IMG]

    Unfortunately i don't have anything such as sizes or height. about
    half the size of a normal agp. You might be able to tell form pic or linked gallery.

    Designing case in sketchup before buying componets......

    It's cheap under $80 USD :clap:

    if edges are coplanar you will automatically get a surface. I don't really understand your problem.
    Do you want a 3D solid, or just a 2D sheet? Do you want the curve to be smooth or a right-angle?

    Hey Nightingale, the easiest thing to do to make a motherboard is make the simpilist of things, such sa placement of CPU socket, the PCI / AGP slots, ram slots etc.
    To do this easily, download one of the other mother boards and take off the components from it, and place it on yours! It'll save a lot of time and the outcome will be as of a high quality you wish for.

    SuperToadMan i have one of these over at a firends house, ill get him to model the basic box and ill do the rest adding the plug sockets etc.

    @Dodge:
    Okay, what you need to do first is to draw the profile, lines and a curve, then copy the whole line (use the move tool, hold down control) to a position directly above it (it will snap to a sensible position if you're close enough, and a blue line will appear if you're going directly up.

    You'll then need to draw lines from the top line-curve down to the bottom, from each end-point. when you've done two a flat section will appear, keep going till you're finished. to smooth the piece out you can select the whole thing, right click and select smooth.

    I'll make some pics if the above doesn't make any sense. (which it probably doesn't.)
