    Hi everyone,
I am currently planning my case, and am using Sketchup to try out layout ideas.
I have been able to model some parts easily enough, but was wondering how to make a component set, or whether one already exists. I have seen the few pieces here but was hoping there are a few more around...
These could be useful to all of us, don't need to be highly detailed like the 3DS Max stuff on that thread, just the right size etc.
If anyone knows of, or has, further components could you please post them here?
    Thanks in advance... :)

I suppose I just want/need the standard stuff like:
(ATX)Mobo, CD/DVD Drive (Slot/Tray), Floppy, PSU, GPU, HSF, 60/80/120mm fans.

if the mobo could just have slots to show the positioning for cards that'd be cool.

I hope that people doesn't make the models too detailed. No point on having all the pins etc. modelled for a cd-drive because it all eats a lot of CPU power to work with and doesn't contribute that much to the end result. I think that the whole idea with Sketchup is to be able to avoid autocad and all the other "heavy duty" programs and their features. Simple, clean and functional models please. :)

Here is my contribution. Made this after my old Ti4200 card but should work dummy for any display adapter.

    we're using Sketchup.
it's a great program designed to be used to sketch ideas, but in 3D, have a look at the site
