Dunno if anyone is interested, but I had never been skiing before trying skibiking and it was excellent fun! A mate is setting up a new skibike business in Scotland. Doesn't that look like fun? http://www.skibikescotland.co.uk
Actually the original photgraph was photoshopped to make the background the same colour as the website. Sc0rian, stop causing trouble and stirring "it" Original Image
1337modderman, the world speed record on a skibike is 125mph. Not that slow, especially considering you are closer to the ground and the skis are narrower. More fun anyway, I like bikes. At least you get a seat!
You skid the rear ski into the snow. You steer like speedway bikes, with the back end pointing outwards and the front ski pointing straight down the slope. Hehe
200km/h ???? Did he live to brag about it? I haven't even gone that fast in a car... let alone on a snowboard... crazzzzyyy stuff L
Pretty cool. I've been skiing since I was about 5. Has anyone snowbladed before? Snowblades are like skis that are cut down. They're small so you can do some awesome tricks.
because you could be using that arse for something else Im just playing.... meh, I dont know about the sky bike, its not my kinda thing....
If it had a slightly padded seat and made for 6'2 people and had some suspension I would ski bike, but there isn't snow in HK anyway's so .. EDIT : oops nvm, just noticed that there IS suspension on the bike, nice touch
They do have suspension. Leasure bikes have a sprung seat and race bikes have proper suspension springs.
OH! I'm such an idiot I forgot I've actually tried ski biking before LOL!!! What a tard I am sometimes I remember now!!! It was a school ski trip to sweden and on the previous night before the last day we had a fun night thing with "SKi BICYCLES, not the one you're mentioning", Ski bikes, Inflated Donut Rings and many other things, it was bloody fun I have to say, I just went straight down the Ski Bike, damn fun those things are, but those ones had no suspension and I think my nuts felt a bit
