Afaik, their aren't any 'digibox-on-a-card' type things for PC's, as digiboxes use a proprietary encoding/decoding chip and are too tight to licence it out to PC card manufacturers. You could build a media centre PC, using Windows MCE or MythTV, etc.

    1 word:

    'SlingBox' - Google it.

It costs £179 and does exactly what you want....

You can watch it and record it on your PC indirectly by using a TV card and plugging the output of the Sky box into the input of the TV card. However, you won't be able to access the Sky Guide directly through your pc, and you won't (easily, although I expect it's possible with some custom hardware/software) be able to make your PC change the channel. This isn't so bad, although the drawback of this is that if you set your PC to record something, you have to set the Sky box to the right channel and leave it on before you leave.

    I'll say it again

    'SlingBox'

it allows you to change channel. And watch your sky wherever you are in the world with a decent internet connection!

Say it with me! 'SlingBox' - doesnt it just roll off the tongue...

Just get a tv tuner card with an AV input, then plug your digibox into that, you can acess the guide and everything that way.

Hopefully your words aren't falling on deaf ears, SpeedFreak :) I sometimes get that in threads, too.

Never heard of this Slingbox though.. hmmm..

Sorry bout that Speedfreak. Guess I should have refreshed again before posting. After looking at the Slingbox, it can indeed do what is needed. However what I posted still works if you do not want to spend extra money on the Slingbox.
