LoL better late than never. :)

Athough the project is spose to be on hold till i finish exams at the end of the month ive attualy done quite a bit of work since i put it together. (Have been building a gpu block with 80w TEC today)

Heres a 'to do' list for Stage 2

    2nd w/c loop
    - Gpu block
    - Mosfet Block
    - Northbridge Block
    - Southbrige Block
    - 2nd Heatercore
    Existing loop
    - Swap Eheim 1250 for Laing D4
    Other
    - Build /find/convert PSU for TEC and Pumps (16v adustible)
    - Cut Side Panels (Window and blowholes for Rad)
    - Tidy and Sleave 2nd Rail of PSU
    - Add Rheo(s) for Fans
    - Add temp Probes
    - Fix LCD

    Stuff to buy

    - Laing D4 x2 = £100
    - TEC/Pump PSU = ???
    - Rheobus = £10
    - Heatercore = £5
    - x800pro = £250
    - 120gig HDD = £60

Just a quick question, do you intend on keeping that q-tec psu? i had one for a while then i changed to my rather sexy enermax.. what can i say! that q-tec was sooo loud compared to it.

If your gonna keep it, buy some silent fans at least... I'm sure you've noticed the noise level from it already though.

p.s when i had my q-tec i didn't think it was loud.. when my enermax came i was like :O jesus.. you don't even know its there

Yeh i agree the Q-Tec is pretty damn noisey! I wont be swapping PSU tho as i simply cant afford to spend £100s on a better quality one when a Q-Tec only costs £20 and is more than capible power wise.

Il see how things progress with the 2nd loop but im attulay looking at watercooling it oneday. :naughty: If not its a fan swap

Nice copper/brass combo block you've got there. Is that a frontside or backside block? Believe it or not, cooling the backside of the PWM FETs is actually better ;)

Yeh its a frontside block. I disided against a backside block because of the difficulty routing tubing and such. Also i may possibly make a batch of these blocks for sale and i did not relly think that a backside block would sell very well for the same reason :thumb:

i very much like the case and the color combo's but more of all i like your homemade blocks (who doesn't) and your TIG welding skillz, if ay of you guy have welded you might know that TIG is probly the hardest type of welding (other tha uderwater) and i must say you did a supurb job, now i wish i was in school cause we got a CNC mill (computer controled mill) and a hand opperated one, now i thinking about makes meself some nice CPU blocks *grins* any way i love the whole mod, keep up the good work, your work puts many ideas in my mind
