We are trying to put together a project night in SLC, UT. If you are interested, please let us know! (Hope this is ok to post this here BT. Love you guys!) DETAILS: The First LANCandy / P42 Project night. Hopefully there is a good interest in this. We would like to make it a weekly thing. Here's the idea: Bring your projects down to P42 You can request: - Help (Technical or Physical) with hardware, software, modding, or other projects. - Tools. Within reason. I have a stand-up drill press, some saws, a nice MIG welder, a nice dremel, and more. You may be need to pay for things like dremel discs / welder wire if you use a lot. (You will also need to sign a waiver, and you will also need to use proper safety gear.) - Shared projects. (See below) Please bring your own: - Parts, Projects, etc - Computers, Laptops, etc - Software - Electronics - Tools Shared P42 / LANCandy Projects We plan on having various things for you to do if you do not actually have a project to bring down. Here are some of the current ideas. Let us know if you have a particular interest in one. If there are enough people, we will fund it. - MAME Cabinet (Which will stay at P42 on FREE Play Mode!) - Papercraft (We will have them pro-printed and ready for cut / glue!) - Modding (Various scratch-builds and other computer case mods) - Electronics (PIC programming / soldering / etc) - Overclocking / PC Tune Up (Have the pro's help w/your PC!) - Hacking (Software / Hardware) - Software (PHP / WPF / C# / Python / etc) - CNC Router We are very open to your ideas.
