    36 1/2 hours so far.

I'm starting to really feel the strain when I'm doing nothing. If I stay active (even playing the piano) I'm fine. Unfortunately, sitting at a computer isn't enough activity.

I don't sleep a lot in general, a few hours every couple of days or so and it is a hard slog. Not by choice mind.

Eye drops. The kind that help re-awaken your eyes.. I forget the brand, but they help a lot. After extended periods, your eyes will become quite bloodshot and quite often sore. The eye drops will relieve this and give your eyes a brief wind of awaken...ness...

Increase your daily intake of food to 4 balanced meals a day - 2 small, 1 medium, 1 large. Exercise is very important in helping burn off the extra calories from the extra meal. 30 minutes a day of cardio work minimum (jog, bike ride, etc). Also be sure to drink lots of fluids - primarily filtered/spring water.

I'm not a scientist, so my methods have no laboratory proof or theory behind them. They're just part of the methods I've developed in having to cope with having little sleep over the years.

    Good luck, hope you win!

Thanks for the advice, but it's a bit late now to increase my daily food intake or get eyedrops, as this ends tonight. It is not a long term thing, just untill one of us konks out tonight (assuming we don't both last till the morning).

Yea my eyes are starting to hurt and I just spent about half an hour laughing uncontrollably for no real reason. All this and only 41 hours of being awake.
