So I have a new case on the way and want to get some bits ready to go.

How much para cord am I going to need to sleeve my power supply?
I don't want to get 100ft and end up with most of it left!!

    Thanks!

If you look on the website of your psu manufacturer, or at reviews of your psu, they very often have the length of the cables on there.

I was hoping to draw on the vast experience of bit tech for a rough answer. I understand the idea of measuring and multiplying by the number of wires, but just a rough, "get 50ft/100ft or you'll run out" answer was what I was after.
    Thanks for playing.

Anyone with experience and a rough idea?

God you're a lazy ****. It's probably taken you more time to write these 2 posts and no one would be able to give you an answer because:
    a) you haven't said what PSU you have and cable length will vary between 30-60cm and could double the length required.
    b) Only you know how many separate cables of each type you'll be using.

Why don't you do yourself a favour and pull your head out your arse.

For those who are interested 50ft will be a bit short. Atx cable could easily use up 12m, once you add the other wires in it will go over 50ft

You have a point Crapman, jazzyj could have helped by giving us some more info, but that is unacceptable behaviour. Have a week off.

And jazzzyi: you have answered your own question. You think that 100ft will be too much, but you know that 50ft will not be enough.

The_Crapman made a valid suggestion on determining cable length. Your reply to him is not helpful either. If you want people to help you, play nice.

Thanks krikket and next, I thought it would be a quick answer really.
I have done a bit of looking elsewhere and found out that 50ft won't be enough. I'm going with 100ft and see how it goes. It comes in 50ft bundles you see.
I think the length is deceptive. I will report back when I get it done!

So I got 100 Ft, its done all the extra wires other than the ATX wire and there is lots left. So, in short I would recomment 100ft for a full rig.
