The only slot-load BD writers I've seen lately were spares on ebay for high-end Dell & HP laptops. (Panasonic UJ225 UJ235 or UJ267)
If you're in the UK, Scan are showing a couple of slim Sony ones available for pre-order and one in stock with "call for price" http://www.scan.co.uk/search.aspx?q=blu-ray+slot
Well spotted. I've been looking for one for either an FT-03 or SG-09 build (whenever Silverstone decide to finally release the SG-09). The "in stock" one seems to be a combo drive - reads BD but only writes CD & DVD
Sorry, missed the "writer" comment Only the pre-order http://www.scan.co.uk/products/sony-bd-5850h-6x-slim-internal-slot-in-bd-writer-(bare-drive) on Scan is a b-r writer It's actually in stock at Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Internal-Slot-Writer-Burners/dp/B007HKORZA Edit: since posting this availability has gone down from 3 to 1
For a BD reader, and you don't mind rewireing it and modding it, the drive from a fat PS3 would do well, but they use a ribbon cable. and don't have a good face plate.
Having trouble getting the drive mounted- any ides how or what would be best way to mount this in a TJ07 case
sorted- found a silverstone bay adaptor for it and 4 ssd drives as well Might need to think about getting a couple more
