Admin: Please leave here over the weekend as I would like fellow folders to have first refusal then I will move it to the sale section if none of it has sold... Right thought I'd better start off selling some kit to generate money for my rig consolidation plans! There will be more kit becoming available over the next few weeks but right now I have the following for sale: 1 small folding rig, ideally like to sell 'as-is' but might end up splitting yet as core components were top spec of their day and still fetching good money on Fleebay! Small iCute case with 200mm side fan & 3 x 80mm (1 front, 2 back) Hi-power 500w PSU (only a month old) Asus A8N-SLi deluxe mobo (top spec s939 board) 2GB memory (4 x 512MB) of Corsair DDR XMS Pro 400mhz with activity LEDs AMD Athlon 64 x2 4200+ CPU (2.2ghz dual core) Western Digital 40GB HDD, no cd-rom 2 x BFG 9800 GT OC GPU's, still under warranty for another 4 months The 9800GTs are the OC'd versions and come with original boxes etc. I still have the iCute box so the rig will be packed up in that, oh and the Motherboard has had the crappy Southbridge heatsink replaced with a much better Zalman one. Prices 2nd hand for the components work our around £280, still shocked at how much the these CPU's are fetching! (Here) I will take £50 off the individual component price and say £230 with both the 9800GT's or £180 with 1 9800GT? Its been pushing 10,000+ ppd without any overclocking for the last few months quite happily Heres some pics, sorry about the lack of cable management, sort of chucked it together and haven't stopped it folding to tidy up since lol: 1 x BFG 7900 GTX OC - was a damm good card in its day and came with a nice factory overclock. I still have the box and everything it came with. Full info & spec are here - http://www.bfgtech.com/bfgr79512gtxocsine.aspx Only after £25 + p&p
No one interested? Maybe I would be better selling the parts off separately then which is a shame as its all ready to fold...
I'm tempted because I need something (quite like that) to fold for the rest of the month at least to make my million points, but I already agreed to buy the i7 setup off Clive and I can't afford to take that off you as well
I know the feeling mate, I want to get a couple of GTX295's in to start my consolidation but they are still big money plus my Nvidia tree was stolen by Evga so im skint! Will give it to the end of the week and then might split it up, got some more stuff to get up as well...
This is still really tempting mate. I have a 9800 (believe it or not) spare at the moment and that rig minus one of your cards would be perfect for it. I wouldn't allow myself to buy it for at least 2 weeks though. Folding. It's a more expensive hobby than..... well lets not go there
Sorry Uni at the moment its provisionally sold mate with both 9800GT's, just checking out postage costs then will know for sure if he's having it Should have at least 1 more 9800 GT for sale in the near future though...
No problem at all mate, What I really need is a rig for at least one of a couple of spare cards that I have - 1 9800 and 1 8800GTS. I'll probably put the 9800GT in my new P6T deluxe and the 8800 will have to find another home, probably in another micro ATX board like a media PC. Like you I'm trying to eliminate any "inefficient" folders from my farm, and make the whole thing entirely either quad or tri card rigs.
Glad to hear you found a home for it mate! Yeah I've just been over in your 2xGPU's thread and realized that I can run the 8xxx and 9xxx cards in the same board. Every day's a school day
