Photos Smoke in a Glass

tried taking some hots with both Glass and smoke using flash, didn't get quite the pictures I wanted. Still unsure of how to light the glass with black background and side flash used for smoke. think I might have needed a few honeycomb snoots.

The last one is ace. Very nice.

But it would look better straight IMHO.

 

Agreed, I think that the wine bottle needs to be more representative of when it is full. Somehow emptying the bottle into a full glass just doesn't look right (to me atleast)

 

Love the second one personally.

 

Thanks for the comments, bit of a rework on the last shot, it was late when I first finished it. Straightened the glass and have moved the bottle . Previous version was as shot, but I think it looks a bit better with the smoke coming out of the bottom of the bottle.

yay. I entered the last shot in "Digital Photo" Magazines round 4 called digital art, and it came 8th, I'm quite pleased with myself now, even if I don't actually win a prize. its my first pic to be in a magazine so yay me.
