I moved by SN41G2 shuttle back to my house, re-filed the water cooling system, and now i have a strange error.

As soon as the system is powered.
The CPU over temp LED lights up, but stays constant, if its over temp, its ment to blink

This is why i can't figure out what the problem is, its surely not over temp, the systems on for about 1.5 seconds the waterblock is so damn cool.

any ideas i had a looksie on the shuttle europe site, nothing.

i've removed the HDD that was connected, so its just the bare board, whacked the water system onto my bench rail (so its not on the PSU to make sure its nice n cool).

    driving me nuts! :wallbash:

Sorry if this sounds a bit cheeky, but in moving the PC back to your house any chance the movement, made the waterblock not sit correctly against the CPU?

Have you re-seated the waterblock to ensure its properly fitted against the CPU?

Have you tried refitting the ICE heatpipe and seeing if it works with that fitted.

This will at least narrow down the possibilities

    Yes re-seated, its fine.

I'm low on thermal paste thou, so i don't want to use the last of it testing with the ICE pipe again.

I've put some fans on its fan 1 & 2 line incase it was because of a lack of fan.

The thing that gets me is the LED overtemp is SOLID. not flashing like it should if it was that!

i think i'm gonna try another CPU.
