Does the heat exchanger at the back get very hot?

If it does try turning off the smartfan feature in the bios and maxing out the main fan, if that works then play with the smart fan settings to make the fan spin up at a lower temp.

If the heat exchanger doesn't heat at all check the cpu shim doesn't prevent the heatsink from seating on the cpu core.

If it still doesn't get warm suspect the heat pipes (i think they work something like a refrigerator / aircon unit and contain a fluid / gas under pressure which turns to gas when things warm up at the cpu end and back to liquid again when the heat is dissapated at the exchanger end). If that stuff leaks out the cpu will overcook for sure.....

You havn't removed the fan from the ducting? I did once and put it back in the wrong way round. Heated my case up quite nicely (to the point the whole outside was hot to touch)

check that the fan is EXTRACTING air rather than sucking it in.
