Other Snow in 49 of 50 US states

Around here it has to warm up to snow. What usually happens is we get a snow event and then it clears up and temps drop into the teens. It's not until the clouds come back that it warms up. Snowed last night, now raining (which is an improvement).

A few years ago Mt. Baker set a world record with a 100+ foot snow pack.

 

Here in NJ, we've had at least 50-60 inches (~1.5 meters) of snow since Christmas.

 

Well stranger thins have happened. On a holiday to Tunisia, specifically the 2 day trip into the Sahara that we went on, it rained. Visiting Matmata (Star Wars locations) in the bloody rain......

Still, very surprised for Arizona/Utah/etct. to get it.

 

I wouldn't be happy if I lived in a Cellar of Celibacy either.

I don't know if it's still snowing here or not but I had no snow on my car yesterday. When I left for a doctor's appointment this morning, however, I have 7-8" of snow on my car.

 

Any records of this kinda event in the past?

It happened last year in February, I think. I know we had only three or four days during the whole month where it didn't snow.

 

Florida does not feel left out!! Yesterday it was in the mid70's now its freezing I want the warm back

 

It's not surprising at all for Utah to get snow. Salt Lake City was home to the Winter Olympics not too long ago, and Park City, Utah, is home to some beautiful ski resorts.

As my father often says when talking about my brother's birth in Utah, "It gets damn cold in the winter; what else are you supposed to do?"

 

Oh goody, more snow over here in a couple of weeks.
