I live just down the road from TaRkA and seriously, it's like the middle of winter here - this is what it looks like now, and it was about 10 degrees yesterday...
Seven inches at the door, four to five inches in the sun... but it's started snowing again... and it's stopped again... at about 200m above sea level.
I'm city centre and it's dry on the ground. Bit cold, little bit of snow or sleet every few hours, windy as hell (what's new?) but the only snow I see on the ground here is from the tools who don't bother to take the snow off their roof before driving.
Hah frankly I was so frozen I probably wouldn't know it even if I had... ...or then it's just the snow on the shorts.
Heavy downpour of sleet now. This weather is weird. I really am surprised by all the comments of freezing, do you guys not get used to 0-5C over winters?
Snow here as well. Couldn't believe it when I looked out the window, after fantastic sunshine at the weekend. People were telling me last week it was due for the weekend but I dismissed it as nonsense.
Just cloudy here down in the South East. Occasional drizzle, nothing like what you guys got up north.
True story (and a little weird). 2-3 weeks ago, before it was forecast and still around 15-16*C, I got in the car to go to work one morning and my mate said "I had a really weird dream last night", I replied with "not as weird as mine, it snowed in april" and we both laughed.... Was it just a dream? Or a vision of the future? /tinfoil hat
