It's been awhile posting here, I've been busy and whatnot.

We got a nice little storm, I think this was my first time ever shooting snow.

I know that stupid car is in the way. I tried shooting the tree from behind the car, but there was too much artificial light bouncing off the snow on that side.

I should have some nice decay photographs for you guys tomorrow =)

I think I got some shots from the same storm, it rolled through NY a few days ago. Anyways, try to take and photoshop out the house, trees and cars from the background using a mask, paint brush or clone stamp. It should make for a nice piece (not to say its not nice as is).

Thats really pretty, shame about the car.

I would play around a little with the white balance though.

    Seconding the white balance part.
That's a beautiful snowclad tree. It really looks very pretty the way it's been almost powdered.
I actually like how the white elements on both the left and right create a highlighted area of the background before it meets the sky.

I don't think the car is that much of a distraction, however I think the crop is just too tight. Nice colour of the sky though.
