As the title says I was standing in my front yard today and the UPS driver stops in front of my house, so I'm like what do you have good for me today? He brings out this big box and hands it to me, I think this is something that the wife ordered but lo and behold my name is on the box. The address is from Seasonic themselves in CA, and the only note on the box says Lan Party Sponsor with their telephone number over top of it. So I go to all the tech sites that I frequent (not a lot but a few) and I don't see any contest that I have entered that this was the prize. The only thing in the box was the 650W Gold PS and a post card that has Seasonic name and emblem in the top left corner and printed on the card is "Thank you for your support The Seasonic Team" I have not bought any of their products and have not registered any so how did they get my name and address, was this meant for me or someone else (even with my info)? I think I am going to ring them tomorrow and see from whom or were this came from. I think this is the right course of action as I do not want to cheat a modder out of their gear or a great company that would send a gift out like this. It did not have any plastic wrapping the box but the PSU came in a Styrofoam box and the cables were sealed in the bag along with a wall plug a nice plush bag and a few velcro straps. What is everyone's opinion on where this came from? I know I am doing the right thing and if they tell me to keep it I will I just want to be fair to them and if this was not meant for me the person that it was. Or if one of you sent it to me I appreciate it and send me a PM so I know who to thank! I know we have some extremely generous people on here. Any and all thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Meanmotion My life has been in a serious stage of screwed UP! I am getting medical boarded out of the military and there is a LOT of stress in my life. They may be medically retiring me and I don't know what the future holds, It will be 8 months before I find out anything. I have had a hard time keeping up with my email or even being on the forums with all the stress and change. The Bit-tech emails are the ones I almost always check. I just did not want to take something meant for a modder as part of a project, as I know that sponsors are hard to come by. If it had been meant for someone else I would have had to send it to them so they didn't loose their sponsor, that was my main concern.
