Fortunately the stucture fell a sunday morning, there was nobody on the road but if it had happen tomorrow at the rush hour. :s It seem that they did nothing since the Concorde incident, 5 years ago...7 dead weren't enough as a lesson, back then.

I find it funny when the Minister of Transport said that the bridges and tunnels are inspected regularly.... Yes.... "regularly", soon after something terrible bad happens.

Well what is to apologies for. You are still alive. When you'll die from it, THEN you'll get an apology from them, you know, like the inspection of our roads, bridges and tunnels, once they fall and kill 10 people, then an inspection is sent on site. 9 is not worth the investment. It's all about being efficient, really.


Kidding and bad jokes aside...

Like really, what are they thinking! It's not like our taxes are low or something like that. Everything is very expensive in Quebec and especially Montreal, and we can't afford road maintenance?! It's one thing holes in roads, and it's another having concrete falling on you turning you and your car into a pancake. Pancake à - la Knuck :/

Was it so hard to spend 1 hour at your place saying some b.s comments and say how sorry he is, and that they are working on rectifying the bad roads? Even though it's his talk would be useless as most likely nothing will be done, and nothing was done, but at least it give the impression of effort.

I love Britain and I really wish to visit it someday but, in the meantime, I am much closer to the United States and their English, so I'll keep using their spelling

A viaduct who fell on the Papineau Highway, 5 years ago, killing 7 persons. If it had happened some hours earlier, during the rush hour, I can't imagine how many would have been killed.

 

Oh wow, that's incredible. And this sort of thing is still happening?! I love Canada no matter what, but seriously, come on...

 

It's not Canada... it's only in the province of Quebec the problem.
