...and over the break, I finally managed to complete Vortex on Absolute, and I've maxxed out all classes and weapons.
If that's Titanfall 1, yeah, you kind of need two teams for it to work. The last time I played a full server's worth of campaign was 2021 in a gap between the DDoS attacks, it was magical.
Finally making headway on Cyberpunk 2077. Just done the dog town quest involing the president. But im trying to do side quests to i had to reload a save as i didnt realise some quests are time sensative. No clue how im doing so far enjoying it ive started this game about 10 times but never got this far.
SPACE MARINE II!! But I've put it to one side for a minute because there were a lot more controls just for the chainsword since the first one and I am sooooo tired these days. I will strike back.
Finally making a start on Starfield now that I have a PC that will run it without dying. So far, not bad, still trying to get to grips with the shortcuts of getting about as well as putting bits of ships together, but everything else seems to be pretty good. Managing to run things on a decently high setting as should be expected at 1080p and that is looking good to me and my dodgy eyes.
Finally been actually playing some Star Wars: Outlaws having owned and started it months ago. Don't play many (any?) ubisoft open world type games so have been enjoying it. I also picked up Dome Keeper after the free weekend a couple of weeks ago, can see myself giving that a go every now and again for a while.
Just about to start that soon on PS5, had it for months. Repeated bouts of flu have put pay to gaming for too long now, need to get back on to help keep my sanity. On my list on next pc games to pick up. I heard a rumour there may be an update soon (?) and that the universe is a bit sparse at the moment? How you finding it?
I know you did ask me direct But i had thought on Starfield, Desptite allot of people having Mixed Thoughs i enjoyed my time with the game, The big Capital planets feel small but have a fair amount of things to do, Then most plantes are Barron *think the Moon from Mass Effect** where they get the Odd little Moon base ect, Most planets are just Desert style, not come accross many *earth esk Planets** but it felt a BIG game but with BIG empty spaces, from what i understand they Added a Car as a method of transport to get around planets now, i got distracted with all the side quests and side story missions becoming a bounty hunter ect so no clue bout the actual main story.. usual your special as you touched a thing, The designing of the Ship was Fun, The designing of the Bases felt like an After thought. DONT buy the DLC it wasnt worth it for £20.. maybe £5.. But its a ok game Worth a play through imo, I just went in thinking I can do my own Firefly story and thats how i designed my ship and went round doing odd jobs. Wasnt a Fan of the Compaions, but i just left them on the ship
I tried it on Game Pass on the Xbox, and bounced straight off it. Dunno why, but I just couldn't get into it.
I have not gotten too far in it yet, just 3 or 4 hours so far and I have been taking things pretty easy. So far, I am liking it, the questline that I am on now (Vanguard Terrormorph) is pretty good, nicely written, good couple of twists in it and some pretty cool locations. There are a LOT of mechanics that I need to get my head around, even with knowing Fallout 4 so well, but I shall definitely be sticking with it.
Also interested in how you get on with Starfield as it's on my radar. Fallout 4, I've given up on. Just doesn't draw me in. And I have over 100 hours accumulated over two or three restarts...
Installed game hub on my new android and installed game hub so been playing Fallout 3 on my phone so shocked how well it's running, I've ordered a controller for my phone to use.
It’s really come a long way lately. Yeah sure, Fallout 3 isn’t exactly new, but you’re still talking about running a game written for x86 and Windows on ARM hardware. From what I understand, Valve’s partner Igalia have been putting a shitton of work into the FEX x86-to-ARM translation layer and the Mesa “Turnip” drivers. It might be in Valve’s interest to do so - it’ll help them shift Steam Frame when (or if) it eventually launches - but the great thing about open source projects is that everyone benefits from that effort.
Started Star Wars Outlaws on PS5. Have to say thoroughly enjoying mooching about the SW universe as a crim. Much fun. Think it always helps that I get to games long after release so they've usually patched out most of not all of the bugs.
Its like a 3rd party emulator for android(might be available else where) but its allowed me tonconnect my steam account ans play PC games on android using proton ect to run. It drains the battery fast but i got a power bank. Not sure how well other games will work but just thought try fallout 3 as a bench mark .
