Sorry if I've missed it _tad as I've only read the first and last couple of your posts, but did you think about Starlink? The constellation is really coming on, the hardware is supposed to be pretty decent, and although pricey it seems like a great solution. In the UK you're far south enough that most of the constellation is easily accessible, and ping is sub-30ms in normal use from what I've seen.

Edit: Ignore me, stupid! It's not in the UK yet as they're still rolling it out "beta" in the US, I thought it was further along

I preordered it - never had an estimated delivery date and have cancelled, deeming EE viable for now. AFAIK a few units are trickling out here and there in the UK but no telling when I would have gotten mine.

Once my 12 months on EE runs up I'll take another look though - the speeds are a bit hit and miss now from my understanding, but perhaps if we don't have a decent fixed-line available by then Starlink will be improved, and more available.

    EDIT:
The new SIM just arrived but before I swapped it out I wanted to log in to see what was up with that data alert since I figured I've probably used the rest of the 100GB by now.

Kaaaaay... maybe if I stuck with it, it would actually be proper unlimited, simply because the monitoring is clearly broken.

"null null left of null null" :D

Gives every confidence in EE's network
