Socket 7 Heatsink

    LOL - Mother got me a socket 7 heatsink as one of my xmas pressies, bless 'er :D Im running socket A tho, so what can I do with it. Im thinking of epoxying it to my GeForce2 pro so that I can overclock - good idea??

    Yep it would do the job on a Gf2 Pro fine...also get some tweakmosnter ramsinks and really spruce up the card! Should help you clock a bit further as well

    :)

    I just epoxied an old S7 heatsink (worked fine with a K6-2 366) to my brother's GF2 GTS. He'd been having problems with the stock HSF, and it would crash very quickly on any attempt to run 3dmark 2001. Put the S7 HSF on, replacing the old (worn out) fan with a new YStech 50x50x10 (came on my Akasa Icicle 311), and it's solid as a rock, even without any case airflow in his machine.
